Where: The Cloth Diaper Report
When: Ends February 3, 2009
Why: I need a wipe warmer. This looks perfect for the job. (check it out at The Cloth Diaper Report!)
Why consider cloth diapers?
1) Cloth Diapers are super soft and comfortable on your baby’s skin.
2) You will save an estimated $1500 to $2000 on your first baby and more than that for each additional child.
3) Some of the chemicals in disposable diapers are toxic! Learn more about dioxins and sodium polyacrylate before you put it against your baby’s reproductive system.
4) Disposable diapers are horrible for the environment. They last an estimated 100 to 500 years in the landfill and are the third largest source of waste.
5) Maintenance is easy. Estimates are about 10-15 minutes two to three times a week. No pails of water, dunking, line drying, or special cleaning are required.
6) Toddlers in cloth diapers typically use to learn the potty months sooner than in disposables.
